Cmbio, operating under the legal entity Clinical Microbiomics, is a science-led microbiome company striving to contribute to health, agriculture and the environment with scientific expertise at the intersection of microbiology, multi-omics and data driven technological interpretation.

Our work focuses on, and benefits from, our activities in clinical microbiomics to help us better understand micro-environments found in clinical samples. Our method of operation enables precision medicine and tailored treatments according to microbiome data by means of analysis.

Driven by our mission to generate and apply microbiome insights, our founders set out to build data assets that provide our partners a measurable commercial and scientific advantage, a solid scientific footing, regulatory certainty and ultimately product success. By placing emphasis on the development and service in the field of clinical microbiomics, we provide innovative solutions to complex issues while keeping up the standards of innovation and excellence to empower microbiome scientists with services that allow them to be more productive.

Microbiome Research

We engage in a variety of research, ranging from the gut microbiome, women’s and men’s health, infant health, and nutrition to skin and others. By combining state-of-the-art techniques such as shotgun metagenomics and metatranscriptomics, we present the deepest analysis of microbial communities to achieve better human health as well as promote a global approach toward Earth's health.

Agriculture

From research for the wild and cattle species to companion animal health, soil, water, waste, and agri- or aqua-cultural research, we take clinical microbiomics from human health all the way into an environment and we also specialize in environmental microbiomics, innovation pipeline development, and the in-depth study of microbiome societies.
